The SunDancer vessel is all welded, steel and aluminum, twin deck, twin screw, diesel powered
Main propulsion by two John Deere Power Tech, model 6081AFM75, 8.1 liter, marine diesel engines that each developed 330 horsepower 2,100 rpm.
Each engine is coupled to a ZF Marine, type ZR-280-1-A reverse/reduction gear with a ratio of 2.476:1. The vessel was further equipped with a hydraulic, tunnel type bow thruster.
The hull, main deck and forward section of the second deck is constructed of steel plating reinforced with steel frames.
The aft second deck was constructed of aluminum plating and framing. Passenger entertainment areas comprised the second deck and the main deck interior,while the remainder of the vessel was dedicated to vessel operations. The vessel is certified to carry 149 passengers
